In this session, Northumbria University will shed some light on the funds that are available to businesses, how universities can support you to secure it, and how to navigate these often complex organisations to get to the right people in a flash.
The session will be lead by Charlie MacDowall, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Northumbria University. Charlie has spent over ten years working with innovative technology companies, helping them to access new markets and grow.
Before moving back to the North East from London in 2018, Charlie was working specifically with the fast growth tech ecosystem spanning entrepreneurs, venture capitalist and business support and accelerator programmes.
At Northumbria, she is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with external organisations and securing funding to develop game changing initiatives that tackle commercial and societal challenges and opportunities.
