Good signs ahead for Gateshead signage specialist despite Covid 19

Signage and prop hire specialists, Vintage Twist Designs, continue to go from strength to strength despite the challenges of lockdown.

Owner, Joanne Hall, is now running the business from her home in Windy Nook as well as continuing her day-job as a property manager and also being a full-time mother.

Joanne said, "Lockdown has been really challenging but we have adapted quickly. Working from home is hard sometimes but it hasn't stopped us from running the business as usual and planning for life after restrictions have been lifted.

"In March before lockdown was put in place, I attended the Business Gateshead start-up boot camp. This really helped me brush up on my business skills as well as network with other local start-ups. It also resulted in me becoming a recommended supplier for Alnwick Castle Wedding Fair. Having future business secured has definitely helped us through these difficult times."

Joanne also accessed vital support from the Enterprise Support in the North East, a project part funded by the European Regional Development Fund which offers free of charge help and advice to start-up businesses across the North East.
