ToastieLabs builds for the future

After entering a challenging period for the business, the team connected with Business Gateshead and quickly discovered a range of support and opportunities designed to help them move forward. 

Business Gateshead worked closely with the company to understand its needs and provide tailored support, including helping the team secure temporary workspace at PROTO while a permanent base was found. 

Alongside practical support, ToastieLabs was introduced to a range of networking opportunities and valuable contacts across the region. This included games industry events, introductions to funding organisations, specialist accountants and intellectual property experts, helping the business access support and expertise they had not previously been aware of. 

Business Gateshead also continued to provide support beyond the initial move, assisting with practical matters including signage, occupancy support and sourcing affordable equipment as the business settled into its new premises.

The team spent several months based at PROTO before moving into a permanent location and are now focused on future growth plans, including expanding the business and creating new opportunities.
