Collaboration creates new opportunities for CLR Law

As tenants at Baltimore House, one of the Council's business centres, CLR Law quickly became part of the wider business community through Business Gateshead events and networking opportunities. Their location alongside other local businesses made it easy to build connections and become active participants in Gateshead's growing network. 

Looking to strengthen those links even further, CLR Law worked with the Business Gateshead team to create opportunities to share knowledge and support local employers. 

Claire Rolston, Principal Solicitor at CLR Law, said: "We wanted to co-host an event with Business Gateshead to raise our profile with other Gateshead-based businesses and provide a central resource for businesses struggling with the impending employment law reforms." 

The impact of the events has been huge, with businesses that attended having continued conversations afterwards, creating new opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.

The events allow us to reach businesses that we do not normally get to meet at other events. We have secured new clients as a result of running the seminars and we have had increased visibility on LinkedIn. 

Support from the Business Gateshead team has played an important role in helping the events grow. James has been excellent at promoting the events on Eventbrite and LinkedIn and attendance is increasing with each event that we do. He also follows up with attendees after the event, and it feels like the business community is growing."
